"We hung the pictures and they look fabulous in the dining room. It was great working directly with you on this. We both think they came out wonderfully."
-a commissioned-work client

Need a specifically sized piece to fit your wall? Dreaming of something in a particular color scheme? Want to give the ultimate personalized gift for a wedding, anniversary, or birthday? Love a certain piece, but want it expanded into a two- or three-piece set?

All of these scenarios have resulted in successful commissioned (custom) work!

Many clients - individuals and interior designers - request custom art for their clients or for their own home or office. The process is collaborative, fun, and definitely not intimidating.

1. We'll exchange information via digital images, telephone, and/or e-mail. This way I can see the artwork's new home and we can discuss what you like and don't like, using my portfolio as a jumping-off point.

2. Based on our initial discussion, I'll sketch out an idea for your piece.
3. You'll review the sketch, ensuring the colors, the size, and the composition are pleasing to you.

4. With your approval of the sketch (or after necessary alterations), I'll begin work on the final piece.

5. If you like, you can visit my studio and see the piece in progress.

6. The final piece - your custom piece! - is ready for pick up and display
There is a 25% upcharge on custom work, and the payment schedule is as follows:

*10% (minimum of $150) non-refundable payment, applicable toward final total – for 1-hour initial consultation and sketch

*40% non-refundable down payment on total, upon approval of sketch, to begin work on final piece(s)

*Full payment due upon completion and pick-up of art
